Hey, so I was checking out this data on car sales in India for last month, November 2025. It’s pretty interesting how the numbers go up and down with festivals and all. The top 10 car companies sold more than 4.10 lakh cars in total during November. That’s a big number, right? But compared to October 2025, there was a drop in sales for most of them. I guess it’s because the festive season ended, and people stopped buying as much after Diwali or whatever.
Maruti Suzuki is still the king here, they sold over 1.7 lakh cars, which is way more than anyone else. Then comes Tata, Mahindra, and Hyundai, all of them crossing the 50,000 mark somehow. The others are a bit lower but still doing okay. Let me break it down for each brand based on the table – I’ll talk about their sales in November 2025, how it changed from October (that’s the month-on-month growth), and also compare it to November 2024 (year-on-year growth). It’s like seeing who’s growing fast even in a slow month.

Maruti Suzuki’s Performance
Maruti Suzuki sold 1,70,971 cars in November 2025. That’s down from 1,76,318 units in October 2025, so a drop of 3 percent month-over-month. But hey, compared to last year, it’s up 21 percent from 1,41,312 cars in November 2024. They are holding strong as usual.
Tata Motors’ Sales
Tata managed 57,436 units in November. From October’s 61,134, it’s a 6 percent decrease this month. Year-on-year though, it’s better – up 22 percent from 47,063 in November 2024. Not bad for them.
Mahindra’s Numbers
Mahindra sold 56,336 cars last month. That’s a big fall from 71,624 in October, down 21.3 percent. But looking back, it’s grown 21.9 percent from 46,222 last November. They must have some good SUVs pushing this.
Hyundai’s Update
Hyundai did 50,340 units in November 2025. Down 6.4 percent from 53,792 in October. Year-on-year, it’s only up 4.3 percent from 48,246. Kinda steady, nothing crazy.
Toyota’s Figures
Toyota sold 30,085 cars. Whoa, that’s a sharp drop of 25.3 percent from 40,257 in October. But against last year, up 19.5 percent from 25,183. They are growing overall, just had a slow month.
Kia’s Growth Story
Kia hit 25,489 units in November. Up actually? No, wait – down 13.8 percent from 29,556 in October. But year-on-year, nice jump of 23.7 percent from 20,600. They are catching up fast.
MG Motor’s Results
MG sold 5,754 cars last month. That’s down 10.1 percent from 6,397 in October. And year-on-year, it’s actually down 4 percent from 6,019. Tough month for them.
Skoda’s Performance
Skoda did 5,491 units. Big drop of 33.5 percent from 8,252 in October. But wow, year-on-year up 90.3 percent from 2,886! That’s huge growth.
Honda’s Sales
Honda sold 5,204 cars in November. Down 18.6 percent from 6,394 in October. Year-on-year, up 4 percent from 5,005. Small gain, but positive.
Renault’s Wrap-Up
Renault ended with 3,662 units. Down 21.6 percent from 4,672 in October. But year-on-year, up 30.3 percent from 2,811. Good comeback.
Overall, even with the dip after festivals, most brands showed good growth from last year. Maruti is unbeatable, but Tata and Kia are closing the gap. If you’re thinking of buying a car, maybe check these numbers to see who’s hot right now. What do you think – which brand would you pick?
