Nissan is going to show off their new MPV to the whole world on 18 December. This will be the third car in their India lineup, coming after the Magnite and the X-Trail. It’s a pretty important step for Nissan because they’re trying to bring more new models to the Indian market and get more customers here.

What’s It Based On?

This new MPV is basically built on the same base as the Renault Triber. They share the CMF-A platform and the same 1.0-litre petrol engine that everyone knows from the Triber. People have spotted test cars driving around different parts of India, and from those pictures, it’s clear the car is compact, has space for seven seats, and gets some special styling from Nissan to make it look different from the Renault version.

Who Is It For?

It’s aimed at families who want a cheap but useful car that can carry a lot of people. Probably it’ll have seats that you can arrange in different ways, and some handy features too, but without making the price go too high. The MPV market in India is doing really well right now, so this new one should help Nissan sell more cars and become bigger here.

What Happens Next?

We’ll get to know more about the different versions, what features it has, and when exactly it’ll come out during the official event on 18 December.
