Upcoming Updates for the MG Hector Facelift
Hey, so MG is bringing out a refreshed version of their Hector SUV pretty soon, and it’s getting some cool changes. The car will come in this new colour called Celadon Blue, which looks kinda premium and modern – it’s the same shade they already have on the Windsor EV. They’re adding it to the list of colours you can choose from.
What’s New on the Outside
On the exterior, you’ll see a different grille design and some new alloy wheels. The whole look has been leaked already in pictures online, so if you’re curious, there are separate articles with those spy shots and details.
Inside the Cabin
Inside, I think there’ll be bigger updates, like more features and maybe new seat materials or colours to make it feel fresher. Not everything is confirmed yet, but it should make the cabin nicer.
A Bit of History
This is gonna be the second big update for the Hector since it first came out in 2019. Back then, it started as a five-seater, and then in 2020 they launched the Hector Plus with three rows for more seats. Probably, the Plus version will get all these same changes too.
The Hector was MG’s first car in India, and it’s meant to compete with stuff like the Tata Harrier and Safari, Jeep Compass and Meridian, Hyundai Alcazar, and the Mahindra XUV700. It’s a solid option in that segment.
